Can we have Rock Music at our Wedding?

This is something that couples ask us about a lot. Maybe you’re really into indie, rock or metal but aren’t sure how to incorporate this into your wedding. There will be much younger and older quests who may not enjoy it as much - and will your DJ have the repertoire and musical knowledge to get you headbanging on the dancefloor as if you were at Download Festival?!

Firstly, this is absolutely doable. I’ve had countless weddings with crowds of rockers and man, does it go off… I’m talking full on moshing on some occasions!

If rock music at your wedding is super important to you, let your DJ know this when booking. The last thing you want is a DJ who can’t stand rock and has no knowledge of your favourite bands and songs (this goes for ALL genres of music.) You want them to be having as good a time as you are and project that energy onto the dancefloor.

Foo Fighters? Blink-182? System of a Down? Whatever you and guests grew up listening to, we will dig deep and deliver nostalgia you never knew was possible at a wedding. The DJ just needs to make sure the right people are on the dancefloor at the right time of night.
